Nowadays, many people are starting to wonder what the eviction process involves. Honestly, nothing has really changed except the eviction moratorium. After July 1, 2020, the eviction process still will include 5 simple steps. First, landlords must serve the tenants with a notice. This allows the landlord to terminate the tenancy. The landlord must then go to court and file an eviction action.
The tenant has a right to respond to a filed complaint to the court. There are a lot of tenants that are in the most difficult financial challenge of their lives. Both parties will then receive a judgement based off the decision of the court. If the court enters judgement in favor of the landlord then the tenant must vacate the property and pay based on the leasing contract.
