Osceola County Launches COVID-19 Eviction Diversion Program

Many hard-working Florida residents may face potential evictions because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Recently, Osceola County has launched a COVID-19 Eviction Diversion Program in an effort to help reduce the amount of potential flood of evictions.

This Eviction Diversion program is designed to help Osceola County tenants who are in imminent danger of being evicted which should help them get back on their feet. It helps prevent the property owner from initiating the eviction process, which will keep the eviction from appearing on the tenant’s permanent record. To be considered eligible for this diversion program, both the tenant and the landlord must complete an application.
