Many Landlords Are Struggling During The COVID-19 Pandemic

The pandemic has been a trying time for everyone, especially tenants. Tenants are trying their best to pay their rent with the funds they have. It is also hard for many landlords who depend on rent as their main stream of income.

Many landlords can’t evict their tenants because most courts will not open to hear eviction cases until later this month. So what does a landlord do when all odds are against him/her? There is the CARES Act which is providing relief for some landlords. Landlords can defer their own mortgage payments and stay out of foreclosure. Unfortunately, that doesn’t apply to all.
