Judge Ordered Wearing Mask Or Losing Timesharing?

The COVID-19 pandemic has the potential to affect your parenting situation, whether that impact is on parental responsibility and/or timesharing plan. The act of endangering a child’s health and well-being could also be the basis for reducing or eliminating a parent’s timesharing.

Recently, a Family Law case was litigated in Broward County that involved a mother posting a picture on social media with the caption “no mask for this girl” and was used against her in court. The judge hearing the case criticized the mother by noting “the audacity to post that on social media.” The judge went on to declare that the mother was “going to wear a mask” or else “timesharing is not going to happen,” according to the Sun-Sentinel.
