What Is the Statute of Limitations for A Personal Injury Lawsuit?

An injury to the body, emotions or mind is termed as Personal Injury. This term is most commonly used when one has suffered harm due to another negligence, whether that negligence be intentional or non-intentional. Common areas which personal injury covers are, vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, workers compensation injuries, or injuries that may occur in a department or grocery store. Under Florida Statue of Limitations, an individual has four years from the date of the accident or incident to file a lawsuit in a Florida civil court.
